ok i am using the 30def +15vs slashing

should i upgrade to the 40def but i get hurt by smight more??? the stuff you can buy in kryta...jsut wonder what is better for PVP and PVE?

i too am curious about armor.

I've hit lions, no better armor, i hit krytas, still armor sucked.

When do i upgade armor, i've been wearing this stuf since ascalon city!!!

lol...when i saw the armor in kryta i decides to rune all my armor from asclon....now i am in bergen hot spring city and they have amor with 39def.......and the same bonus as asclon armor...now i have to buy new runes

edited: wait something is srewy....is the armor actually better or a glitch cuz it may say it has 39def but it looks the same and is called the same as the old stuff......

No, not bugged, that's just the way it is me thinks. Same armor, better stats if you buy it again later on.

I didn't buy the stuff in kryta either, I mean, 10 extra defense? No thanks, I like my +15 against piercing damage more than that. Also...my armor looks better, lol. And I choose the better LOOKING armor over better stats, believe it or not.

I like looking fancy.

In one of the last few towns you get to.
One twon has a specific type of Necro armor that is better that the same armor in the later towns and the later towns have better karmor of the other type.
Fanatic versis Necrotic <- not ceertain of the types.
Theres's a section on armor in the GWonline forums drop down menu selection
Pick Necro armopr and you'll get a lsit of what is available, where and with statrs and cost.
You might also note that you play style needs to be determined when you buy armor.
Idf you plan on gettting close and snggly with your opponetns then you need the slicing defenses but if you plan on stayingout of reach you might consider replacing the slcing with piercing or holy defenses.

Personally, i prefer the 70al tormentors with the - to holy for my necro. There aren't alot of enemies that do tons of holy damage, plus i like the look alot better. But in the southern shiverpeaks, the azure shadows are the bane of my existence, they dont leave corpses, so no minions, and they do major holy damage, so there are downsids too, but overall i prefer the higher base def.
